Butler has stayed under this line in 11 of 15 games this season and has gone under in one of the two games he’s played without Curry, making this mark feel inflated—especially with Curry potentially sitting after tweaking his ankle on the front end of a back-to-back. This number is simply too high for Butler given the context.

Kalkbrenner has been on an absolute tear defensively, clearing this number in 7 of his last 9 outings while averaging more than 1.5 blocks per game during that stretch. He’s locked into steady minutes and now draws a favorable matchup against a Pacers squad that routinely has shots sent back, allowing over 4.5 blocks per game. With his timing, length, and current momentum, this is a great spot for Kalkbrenner to keep his streak rolling.
