Johntay Cook MORE THAN 4.5 Receptions
Cook has been heavily involved in the offense lately, hauling in 21 of 34 targets over his last three games — a clear sign he’s become the go-to option in Syracuse’s passing attack. The Orange enter this matchup as 5.5-point underdogs against a Pitt defense allowing more than 240 passing yards per game, setting up a likely pass-heavy game script. While Syracuse’s quarterback play has been shaky since Steve Angeli went down, Cook’s sheer volume keeps him firmly in play here. With that kind of consistent usage, I love this number for him.
Caleb Goodie MORE THAN 44.5 Receiving Yards
Goodie had been on a roll, clearing this line in four straight games before last week’s matchup, where Cincinnati’s offense simply couldn’t get much going due to limited play volume. That should change here as the Bearcats take on an Oklahoma State defense that has been shredded through the air all season, ranking second-to-last nationally in passing yards allowed at over 335 per game. This sets up as a prime bounce-back spot for Goodie, and with plenty of opportunities expected, he’s in a great position to post a big performance.
