J’Koby Williams MORE THAN 1.5 Receptions
Williams has carved out a clear role as the pass-catching back for Texas Tech, and he’s been heavily involved early on, tying for second on the team with 11 receptions this season. Just last week against Oregon State, he hauled in 7 catches in a game where the Red Raiders offense moved the ball with ease. In this system, Williams is going to continue seeing plenty of targets, as Tech isn’t afraid to check down and get the ball in his hands whenever needed. His receiving yards prop is also appealing given the volume and role he carries in this offense.
Deion Burks MORE THAN 62.5 Receiving Yards
Burks wasn’t heavily involved last week against Temple, but in Oklahoma’s first two games of the season he showed just how important he is to this offense, racking up 14 catches on 20 targets for 189 yards. With Keontez Lewis, the Sooners’ No. 2 wideout, in concussion protocol and potentially sidelined, Burks could see an even bigger target share in this matchup. Auburn’s secondary has been a weak spot all year, ranking in the bottom 15 in pass coverage according to PFF, and Mateer should have no problem airing it out. This sets up as a prime spot for Burks to shine in a big game.
