Omari Kelly MORE THAN 2.5 Receptions

Kelly was without question the go-to option for Aiden Chiles in Week 1, commanding double the number of targets compared to the next closest wide receiver. He saw an impressive 10 targets, converting them into 7 receptions for 75 yards, showing just how reliable he is as a safety blanket for his young quarterback. Now, Kelly and Michigan State step into a tougher matchup against Boston College, a team that should provide a much stiffer defensive test. Even so, Kelly’s role as the clear first read for Chiles isn’t going away anytime soon. In what projects to be a more competitive game, Kelly should once again pile up targets and establish himself as the focal point of this passing attack.

Jahmal Edrine LESS THAN 46.5 Receiving Yards

Edrine had a quiet Week 1, pulling in 3 catches on 3 targets for just 24 yards against Coastal Carolina, clearly working as more of a secondary option in the passing game. He appeared to be slotted in as the third option behind Cam Ross in the slot and Trell Harris on the outside, limiting his overall opportunities. His average depth of target sat at only 6 yards, further highlighting that his role was more possession-based rather than a downfield threat. Heading into a tougher matchup with NC State, there’s little reason to believe his role will suddenly expand, making it difficult to see him reaching this line.
