Antony Richardson – QB – Indianapolis Colts
Anthony Richardson entered the NFL with plenty of hype surrounding his upside, despite a limited college résumé that included just 13 starts at Florida — seven of which were losses. His pro career hasn’t gotten off the ground yet, with injuries derailing his development. He was sidelined for the remainder of his rookie season after just five games, and in year two, he missed six more, even pulling himself out of at least one contest to rest. Now, he finds himself in a legitimate quarterback competition with Daniel Jones, and there’s a very real chance Jones could win the job outright. Even if Richardson does start, it’s tough to project him playing a full season or producing consistently enough to justify selecting him anywhere outside the final rounds of a best ball draft.
Garrett Wilson – WR – New York Jets
The Jets are shaping up to be one of the most avoidable teams in fantasy this season with Justin Fields likely leading the offense. While Fields has proven he can win games in the NFL, the path to production is anything but clear. During his six starts with the Steelers last year, he averaged fewer than 200 passing yards per game, and only two players managed to eclipse 60 receiving yards in a single outing. That kind of inconsistency is a major red flag for fantasy, especially when it comes to investing an early third-round pick in Garrett Wilson. This offense could be a rollercoaster in 2025, and it’s one I’m not eager to ride.
Isaiah Likely – TE – Baltimore Ravens
Isaiah Likely embodied the classic boom-or-bust profile last season—but the booms were few and far between. He topped 14 fantasy points in just four games, while falling below seven points in nine others. With Mark Andrews firmly entrenched as the Ravens’ top tight end, Likely is unlikely to ever be the focal point of the passing game, no matter how talented he is. His value is heavily tied to touchdowns, but in a red zone offense that already features an elite goal-line running back and one of the league’s most dangerous rushing quarterbacks, those scoring chances will be hard to come by. Taking Likely in the 12th or 13th round feels like you’re paying a premium for a very shaky floor.
