Moore has struggled to reach this line recently, staying under in 8 of his last 10 games. He’s got a tough matchup today against Framber Valdez, who he’s faced 33 times in his career with only a .172 batting average and 4 walks to show for it. While Framber hasn’t been quite as sharp overall this season, he’s been rounding into form lately, posting a solid 2.85 ERA over his last 6 starts. All in all, I think this is a really challenging spot for Moore.

King has been on an impressive roll lately, going over this line in 7 of his last 8 starts, and even in the one start where he fell short, he still notched 15 outs. With a .208 expected batting average and a 28.4% strikeout rate this season, he’s been remarkably efficient on the mound. Today, he faces a Braves team that has had its fair share of struggles against starting pitchers and is currently in a bit of a slump, having lost 4 of their last 5 games. This looks like a great spot for King to keep things rolling.
