Nathan Eovaldi MORE THAN 5.5 Strikeouts
Eovaldi has been outstanding this season, consistently racking up strikeouts and showcasing dominant stuff on the mound. He’s gone over this line in 7 of his 10 starts and is averaging an impressive 10.86 strikeouts per 9 innings. With a strong 28% strikeout rate on the year, he’s been a reliable force for strikeout props. He draws a favorable matchup here against a Yankees lineup that strikes out at a 22.5% clip against right-handed pitching. Given his current form and the matchup, this sets up as an excellent spot for Eovaldi to shine once again.
AJ Smith-Shawver MORE THAN 3.5 Strikeouts
Smith-Shawver has had a great start to his first year in the rotation for the Braves with a 24.8% strikeout rate. He has at leat 4 strikeouts in every start this season and averages 6 strikeouts per start over his last 6. He goes up against the Nationals, who he faced last start and had 6 strikeouts against. I like this spot for Shawver.
