Bailey Ober MORE THAN 5.5 Strikeouts

Ober also has a solid track record against this group, having faced them 63 times in his career with an impressive 30.25% strikeout rate. Given the matchup and his recent momentum, this looks like a prime opportunity for Ober to rack up some strikeouts.

Bryce Elder MORE THAN 2.5 Earned Runs

Bryce Elder has struggled with consistency this season, evidenced by his 5.21 FIP and a concerning 44.9% hard-hit rate. He’s allowed significant contact in most of his outings, going over this line in five of his seven starts. Now he faces a Nationals lineup that has been quietly productive, ranking in the top 10 in expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA). With Washington swinging the bats well and Elder prone to giving up hard contact, this could be another tough outing for him.
