Collin Sexton MORE THAN 5.5 Assists

Sexton’s role gets a significant bump with LaMelo Ball sidelined, and the numbers back it up — he averages 11 potential assists per game without Ball compared to just 7.8 when he’s on the floor. With the offense flowing more through Sexton, he should have plenty of playmaking opportunities in this matchup. The Hornets take on a Lakers team that ranks 24th in the league in assists allowed per game, giving up over 27 on average. This sets up as an ideal spot for Sexton to stay heavily involved and fill up the stat sheet.

Ausar Thompson MORE THAN 9.5 Rebounds + Assists

Thompson has been a bit inconsistent this season, but this line sits right around his average production — he’s gone over it in half of his games and is putting up a solid 10 rebounds and assists per game. This matchup, though, is where things really line up in his favor. The Wizards rank dead last in the NBA in rebounds allowed and second-to-last in assists allowed, making them one of the most favorable opponents for stat accumulation. With his all-around skill set and the pace this game should be played at, I really like Thompson to stuff the stat sheet and clear this number comfortably.
