Jeremiah Franklin MORE THAN 38.5 Receiving Yards
Franklin has quietly become a key piece of this Boston College offense, ranking second on the team in both catches and targets with 21 receptions on 30 looks. He came out of the gates strong, hitting this number in each of the first three games and hauling in at least six passes in all of them. While he cooled off a bit last week against Cal, he now gets a much more favorable matchup with Pitt. Over the past two weeks, Pitt has been vulnerable to opposing tight ends, giving up 65 yards to West Virginia’s TEs and 56 to Louisville’s. With that trend and his consistent usage, Franklin is in a great spot to bounce back and put together a big game.
Caulin Lacy MORE THAN 65.5 Receiving Yards
Lacy has been absolutely peppered with opportunities lately, drawing 22 targets over Louisville’s last two games and turning that into at least 95 receiving yards in both contests. Now he gets a dream matchup against a Virginia defense that has been consistently gashed through the air, allowing an opposing wide receiver to top 100 yards in three straight games — including 108 yards to a William and Mary wideout. With this game expected to be high scoring, Lacy should once again command heavy volume and is in a fantastic spot to put up another big performance.
