Matt Gay MORE THAN 6.5 Kicking Points
Matt Gay joined the Commanders this offseason, and this matchup sets up perfectly for him to rack up points. The Packers’ defense is strong enough to bend but not completely break, which means Jayden Daniels and the Washington offense should be able to move the ball but may stall out in scoring range. That creates plenty of opportunities for Gay to step in and deliver with his leg. On a primetime Thursday night stage, this looks like a great spot for him to pile up field goals and easily clear his line.
Josh Jacobs MORE THAN 49.5 Rushing Yards (Goblin)
Josh Jacobs carried the ball 19 times for 66 yards in his Packers debut, immediately establishing himself as the clear workhorse back. The rest of the running back room combined for just 2 carries, showing just how much trust Green Bay has already placed in him. On a short week to kick off the season, Jacobs should once again see heavy volume and plenty of opportunities to wear down the defense. Landing in Green Bay looks like the perfect fit for him, and this matchup sets up for another strong performance.
