Hayes has gone over this line in 61% of her games this season and has done so in each of her last four outings where she logged at least 22 minutes. In two recent blowout losses, her usage took a noticeable hit, resulting in her falling short of the mark. However, with tonight’s matchup against a solid but beatable Mystics team featuring a tight 4.5-point spread, the game is expected to stay competitive. That should lead to steady minutes and opportunities for Hayes, putting her in a strong position to go over this number once again.
Brittney Sykes MORE THAN 17.5 Points + Assists
Sykes suffered an injury in late May but has since returned to action following the All-Star break and is starting to find her rhythm again. Prior to the setback, she had comfortably cleared this line in three straight games, including a standout performance with 33 combined points and assists against the Valkyries in her final game before going down. Since returning, she’s been gradually ramping up, and in her most recent outing—her first with over 30 minutes of playing time—she totaled 24 points and assists. With her workload trending up, this looks like a spot where Sykes is primed for a full run and a strong all-around performance.
