Top Tier

Ja’Marr Chase – Cincinnati Bengals

Despite getting a late start to training camp due to a holdout, Ja’Marr Chase wasted no time reminding everyone why he’s one of the league’s elite. He absolutely dominated the 2024 season, leading all wide receivers in targets, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions. Even with Tee Higgins in the mix—who quietly finished 6th in fantasy points per game—Chase still managed to average a staggering 23.7 fantasy points per game, a full four points higher than the next closest wideout. He returns to a familiar offensive system in 2025 with chemistry already established, and everything is in place for another explosive, high-ceiling campaign. In best ball, where week-winning upside is king, Chase remains firmly in the conversation as the WR1 overall.

Mid Tier

Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Seattle Seahawks

Seattle’s offense is undergoing a major facelift in 2025 with Sam Darnold now under center and longtime alpha DK Metcalf heading to Pittsburgh. That leaves the wide receiver room wide open, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba stepping into a starting role alongside Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. This is a massive opportunity for Smith-Njigba to break out. In the two games Metcalf missed last season, JSN exploded for 13 catches on 20 targets, racking up 249 yards and 2 touchdowns—including a jaw-dropping 40-point fantasy outing. He’s currently being drafted near the end of Round 3 as the WR19, and that’s a price I love paying in best ball formats. With target volume up for grabs and big-play ability already on display, Smith-Njigba has the upside to regularly deliver week-winning performances.

Sleepers

Luther Burden III – Chicago Bears

Luther Burden made serious noise as a high school recruit, entering college as a top-15 overall prospect and the No. 2 wide receiver in his class—a rare five-star talent who chose to stay home at Missouri. He delivered on that hype early, putting up big numbers and turning heads with a dominant 2023 season that had him mentioned in the same breath as Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr. Unfortunately, injuries and a sputtering Missouri offense slowed him down in 2024, causing his draft stock to dip slightly. Still, the Bears saw the upside and grabbed him in the second round, placing him in a rising offense now led by new play-caller Ben Johnson, the architect of Detroit’s recent success. While Chicago’s receiver room is crowded with DJ Moore and rookie standout Rome Odunze, Burden’s raw talent and explosive playmaking give him real spike-week potential. He’s currently being drafted in the 12th round around pick 140, which makes him a perfect late-round best ball dart throw who could pay off in a big way.
