He’s typically capped around 90–95 pitches per game, which usually gets him into the sixth inning, but not always through it. Now he faces a tough challenge against a potent Padres lineup that ranks top 10 in batting average against right-handed pitching. Given the quality of the opposition and his usual workload, this number feels a bit too ambitious—it’s a tough line to clear in this matchup.

Brandon Nimmo MORE THAN 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Nimmo has really started to find his rhythm at the plate over the past month, going over this line in 13 of his last 21 games and delivering consistent production. He’s in a favorable matchup here against Spencer Strider, a pitcher he’s had tremendous success against in the past. In 16 career at-bats versus Strider, Nimmo is batting a scorching .500 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs—proof that he sees the ball well out of Strider’s hand. Given his recent form and strong history in this matchup, this sets up as a great spot for Nimmo to stay hot.
