Clay Holmes MORE THAN 16.5 Pitching Outs
Holmes has been remarkably steady on the mound, going over this line in 7 of his last 8 starts and pitching at least six full innings in six of those outings. He faces a Braves lineup that, while talented, has been inconsistent at the plate—posting a below-average expected batting average (xBA) and showing streaky contact ability. Holmes’ strength lies in his elite ground ball tendencies, generating a 53.1% ground ball rate this season, which plays perfectly against a Braves team that hits grounders at a rate above the league average. This is a strong setup for Holmes to work deep into the game once again—I like his chances to get through six solid innings here.

Cristopher Sanchez MORE THAN 3.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Sánchez has been on a roll lately, going over this strikeout line in nine consecutive starts and in 12 of his 14 outings on the season. He’s been highly effective at missing bats, boasting a strong 26.3% strikeout rate and averaging over six punchouts per start. While the Marlins have shown a bit more plate discipline as the season has progressed, they’ll likely be pressing in this matchup against a red-hot Phillies team. With his recent form and a favorable setup, this reduced number for Sánchez feels like a gift—I’m all in on him to deliver again.
