Boston has stayed under this assist line in 6 of her 8 games this season, averaging fewer than 4 assists per contest. While the Fever are dealing with a few key injuries, her playmaking numbers haven’t seen a major boost—in fact, even with those absences, she’s cleared this line in just 1 of the last 2 games. She now faces a tougher test against a Dream defense that has been particularly stingy when it comes to facilitating forwards, allowing just 4.9 total assists per game to the position. Given the matchup and her recent trends, this number feels a bit too steep for Boston.

Rhyne Howard MORE THAN 2.5 Assists (Goblin)

Howard has cleared this line in 6 of his 8 games this season, averaging just over 5 assists per contest, showing impressive consistency as a facilitator. While he does face a tougher matchup on paper against the Fever, it’s worth noting that Indiana will be without some of their key defenders in this one. That opens the door for Howard to take advantage, especially in what should be a high-paced game where the Dream will need to generate plenty of offense to keep up. Given the circumstances, this discounted line for Howard looks like a solid value.
