Isaiah Hartenstein didn’t have his most impactful offensive series against the Timberwolves, but that was largely due to the matchup and the Thunder’s tendency to go small, limiting his opportunities. However, he now finds himself in a much more favorable spot against a Pacers team that has struggled defensively against opposing centers all season. Indiana ranked 19th in points allowed to centers at 18.5 per game and 25th in rebounds allowed at 13.1 per contest. In the only competitive matchup between these two teams earlier this year—when both sides were at full strength—Hartenstein delivered a strong performance with 11 points and 13 boards. With a better matchup and likely increased role, this could be a great bounce-back spot for him.
