Bryce Elder MORE THAN 15.5 Pitching Outs
Elder has quietly been a workhorse this season, going over this line in 5 of his 8 starts and in 4 of his last 5 outings. He’s consistently seeing a heavy workload, averaging just under 23 batters faced and logging over 91 pitches per start in that span. While he faces a tough test here against a potent Red Sox lineup, the fact that Boston’s hitters have never seen him gives Elder a nice edge. I think he can push into the 6th inning once again in this one.
Hunter Brown MORE THAN 41.5 Fantasy Points
Brown has been dialed in lately, going over this line in 6 of his last 7 starts and racking up at least 46 fantasy points in every game where he’s hit the over. He gets a shot at redemption here against a Rays team that got to him in their last meeting, but I think he’s primed to bounce back in a big way. On the year, Brown is averaging over 6 innings per start and has turned in a quality start in 8 of his 11 outings. With the line set a bit lower after that rocky start, this looks like a perfect spot for Brown to rebound.
