Michael Harris II MORE THAN 0.5 Strikeouts

Harris has not been the most consistent at avoiding strikeouts this season, sitting at a 17.9% strikeout rate and fanning in 57% of his games. Today he draws a tough matchup against Christopher Sanchez, who has absolutely dominated him in their limited history. In 10 career matchups, Harris has struck out 7 times — a staggering 70% rate! With Sanchez sporting an impressive 28.3% strikeout rate on the year, it’s hard to see Harris getting much going here. I expect another rough day at the plate for him in this one.

Shane Baz LESS THAN 17.5 Pitching Outs

Baz has struggled to find his groove recently, going under this line in 5 of his last 7 starts since April 19. Over that stretch, he’s posted a rough 6.81 ERA with a 5.07 FIP, while allowing opposing hitters to post a whopping .923 OPS against him. The Astros, on the other hand, have been excellent against right-handed pitchers this season and have been swinging hot bats as of late. I think Baz runs into some trouble here and falls short of this line once again.
