Jose Ramirez MORE THAN 1.5 Total Bases

We’re getting a nice, juiced line here for Ramirez, who has been absolutely on fire lately and has a great matchup to boot. He’s gone over this total bases line in 9 of his last 10 games, averaging an impressive 2.9 total bases per game during that stretch. He’s facing off against Tarik Skubal, who he’s actually handled very well in the past. In 21 career at-bats against Skubal, Ramirez has posted a scorching .429 average, including three extra-base hits. With the added juice on this line, I really love this spot for Ramirez to keep things rolling.

Jesus Luzardo LESS THAN 18.5 Pitching Outs

Luzardo has only been sent back out for the seventh inning in 3 of his 7 starts this season, falling short of this line in the other 4 games. While his strikeout rate has been fantastic, he hasn’t exactly been the model of efficiency, throwing 100 or more pitches in 4 of his last 5 starts but only completing 6 innings once in that stretch. I think he’ll have another solid showing here, but I expect him to stick to his usual 6-inning outing.
