His dominance is no fluke—he boasts an elite 38.5% strikeout rate on the season, placing him in the 99th percentile among all qualified pitchers. While his career strikeout rate against the current Red Sox roster sits at 23.6%, he’s pitching at a different level right now, and that number is poised to climb tonight. This line feels like a steal, and I’m all over Ragans in this spot.
Jack Flaherty MORE THAN 3.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Flaherty has been remarkably consistent to open the season, clearing this strikeout line in every one of his starts while averaging over 6.5 punchouts per outing. He’s been generating swings and misses at an impressive clip, backed by a 29.1% strikeout rate that highlights just how sharp he’s been on the mound. He also draws a favorable matchup from a historical standpoint—this current Rangers roster has faced him for a combined 65 at-bats, and Flaherty has struck them out at a strong 30.7% rate. Given the form and the track record, this is a great spot to back Flaherty to keep the strikeouts coming.
